woohoo! Something new! I love linking up with these fun little memes ... and this one is RIGHT up my alley!

I have so many hobbies, just never enough time!
So, over at aefilkins blog she's asking the question;
What are your hobbies?
My hobbies are:
*Blogging
*Baking
*Scrapbooking {see photos below}
*Reading Christian Fiction {current faves are: Neta Jackson and Karen Kingsbury}
*Watching TV {current faves are: Extreme Makeover Home Edition, Survivor, Dancing with the Stars and The Amazing Race.}
*Decorating my home which includes moving around furniture, spray painting things, painting walls, cabinets, trim, doors, etc ... and just decorating in general. I love changing things around and making things new.
*Sewing - I only dabble in this a tiny bit - mostly straight stitches so I can make my own curtains - but very little else.
*Gardening - again, only a little. Wish I was better at it and willing to put in more time and effort to keep up with my gardens.
*Traveling with my family - hubby and my two girls - whether it's cruising or camping we love to do stuff together.
*Spending time with my girlfriends - laughing, talking, eating ... it's the best!
*Floral design - it's actually my part time job, but I love it so much that I consider it a hobby that I get paid to do!
*Cake baking / decorating - I've mostly just made cakes for my daughter's b-days but would love to expand that hobby and make more for family and friends - cause I just have SO much time on my hands! haha!
What do you wish that you knew how to do?
Things I have tried my hand at, but have not mastered or spent enough time on to call them my hobbies are:
*Quilting
*More sewing
*Canning
*More Gardening
*More cooking
{Can you tell I'm really an old-fashioned kind of girl? I really just love to be in my home and making things from home and raising my girls at home. I just want a simple life! Doesn't always work out that way, but that's what I desire!}
OH and I almost forgot!!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE taking lots of photos - I WISH I was better at it and could really take the time to get into photography and learn more about using my camera to it's full potential ... but for now I'll just pretend that I know what I'm doing and have fun taking way too many pics! ha!
So, although scrapbooking is one of my absolute favorite hobbies, I'm always so busy that I rarely devote enough time to it. Which is why I'm almost 3 years behind with my photos!!! Which is also why I'm adopting a much faster, much simpler way of doing my pages for a while at least until I can't attempt to catch up a little!!!
Below are some pages I just finished ... in the 3rd pic you'll notice the layout on the left is actually a page protector that is split into 6 different slots. I'm using these MORE and MORE lately to try to simplify and catch up! I just added some colored paper and a small amount of embellishment and voila the page is done. You can add photos on the backside too. I just try to match the opposite page and put it right in my album. Easy peasy!
I'm also a member of the Storytellers Club and LOVE their products! It ships right to your house every month and everything is beautiful AND perfectly co-ordinated. I find my pages go together SO much quicker using ST club. The 1st and 4th pics are layouts made with ST products.

Love your monthly title! Clever idea. And of course the fall background is very nice! I updated my background too but not the title yet...
I like your hobbies. :o)
