Two things on my mind today ...
first - my frugal advice for the day is ... don't buy a new plastic shower curtain every month - WASH yours! Yep, just take it down and throw it in the wash with a load of towels! When it's clean, just hang it back up {still wet} and it will dry while it's hanging. I used to buy a new one every month and this is a huge savings for me!
second - my ??? of the day ... what do you use to prevent slipping in your tub? I use those foamy type bath mats but they get soooo grungy and gross and even though I try to clean mine once per week they just get nasty. I end up throwing it out after about a month or two and buying a new one.
Do any of you have those sticker things that you put permanently on the bottom of the tub? Is this a cleaner option? I need a new solution and would love to hear what you use ...
Thanks!!!

Good thinking on the shower curtain. I wash mine, but not nearly every month. Just when it starts looking a little grungy.
On the tub, we don't use anything. I grew up without any non-slip stuff in the tub and I've never liked it when I tried non-slip stuff.
However, in the interest of being helpful, my MIL uses one of the suction cup mats, hangs it on the tub bar when it's not in use so it can dry, and (I'm guessing, but I'm almost 100% sure, considering how she feels about stuff like that) sanitizes it occasionally. Have you tried that kind?
I might wash my shower curtain when it starts feeling kinda slimy if you know what I mean. I used to use the bathmat with the suction cups. I'd clean it when I cleaned the tub making sure to also spray and clean the suction side too. We installed a newer slip-resistant tub about 6 years ago. I love it. No more bathmats in the tub.
Thanks for the tip!! I have been putting off cleaning mine. That sounds like an easy solution!
